Does lavender grow well in Oregon rain?

​Lavender thrives in Oregon when planted in full sun with proper drainage. In areas with heavier soil, simple preparation to improve drainage is recommended for long-term health.

 

When is the best time to plant lavender in Oregon?

​Lavender may be planted from spring through fall in the Willamette Valley. Spring and early summer allow roots to establish before winter, while fall planting can reduce the need for supplemental watering during the first season. We recommend avoiding planting during periods of prolonged winter saturation.

Are your lavender plants grown locally?

​All of our plants are grown on-site in Canby, Oregon using harvested rainwater and selected specifically for Zone 8B conditions.

Do you offer shipping or local pickup?

​Our botanical goods, culinary lavender products, and dried lavender bundles are available for shipment. Lavender plants and fresh lavender bundles are available exclusively for scheduled local farm pickup and during select open farm events and farmers markets.
